I have been a Sr. Software Engineer with SAIC for 12 years (now part-time), assigned to the Crane Naval Warfare Center. Since 2013, I've taught IT courses as an adjunct instructor at Ivy Tech Community College - Bloomington. And I continue to do freelance work in .Net, Xamarin, and SQL Server. My focus for 2020 is to begin working with Microsoft Teams development, and to become certified through Microsoft as a Data Engineer.
We have lived in New Unionville, near Bloomington, Indiana, for 12+ years. Our property is tucked in a small cul-de-sac and surrounded by trees and the relative quiet of the countryside. From my home office window I can watch our neighborhood deer and wild turkeys stroll across the front yard (when the dogs aren't looking), and see an occasional fox dart across the road. Besides working in the yard and reading, I dabble in genealogy and bee-keeping, and studying various languages when I can find the time.
My passion and true joys are my wife and children, which I cherish above all else.
